How to measure

Use a soft measuring tape. For best results, measure twice and record in both inches and centimetres. There are two ways to measure: the garment (recommended if you already have the dress) and your body (to select the right size).

Measure the garment (flat)

• Bust (flat): Lay the dress flat. Measure straight across from one underarm seam to the other. Double that number to get full circumference.
• Waist (flat): Measure across the narrowest seam or the empire seam (for babydoll styles). Double to get circumference.

Measure your body (to choose a size)

• Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape level and parallel to the floor. Wear a bra similar to what you’ll wear with the dress.
• Natural waist: Measure at the narrowest part of your waist (usually above the belly button).
• Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat.
• Height: Stand straight without shoes and measure from top of head to floor if you want to compare length.
