How to measure — Mittoshop Corduroy Back Elastic Waist Pants

Use a soft tape measure. Measure over light clothing, stand naturally and breathe normally. For most accurate results, have someone help you.

Measure your body

• Natural waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your torso (usually above the belly button). Keep the tape snug but not tight.
• High/where you wear the pants: If you wear pants higher than your natural waist, measure where the waistband will sit (this product has a back elastic waist — measure the position you plan to wear it).
• Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and buttocks, keeping the tape level.

Measure the garment (recommended if you have a similar pair)

• Lay the pants flat on a hard surface and smooth out wrinkles without stretching the fabric.
• Waist (flat): Measure straight across the top of the waistband from left to right and double that number for the full circumference. For the elastic back: take two measurements — unstretched (relaxed) and gently stretched (how far the elastic will comfortably extend) — then double each.
• Hip (flat): Measure across the pants 2–3 cm below the crotch seam and double.
• Inseam: Measure from the crotch seam along the inside leg to the hem.
• Front rise: Measure from the crotch seam to the top of the front waistband.
• Thigh (flat): Measure across the leg 2–3 cm below the crotch seam and double.
• Hem width (flat): Measure across the bottom of one leg and double.

Units: use cm or inches consistently. Conversion: 1 in = 2.54 cm. Example (for clarity only): Size M example — waist flat (relaxed) 36 cm = circumference 72 cm; waist stretched 46 cm = circumference 92 cm; hip flat 49 cm = circumference 98 cm; inseam 68 cm; front rise 29 cm.
