How to measure this dress

Use a soft measuring tape and a flat surface. For garment measurements, lay the dress flat and keep the fabric smooth but not stretched. When measuring flat, double the number shown to get the full circumference.

Measuring the garment (flat-lay)

1. Bust: Lay the dress flat. Measure straight across the fullest part of the chest (underarm to underarm). Double that number to get the full bust circumference.
2. Waist: Measure across the narrowest part of the dress (natural waistline) while flat; double for full waist circumference.
3. Hips: Measure across the fullest part of the skirt portion (about 15–20 cm / 6–8 in below the waist, or where the hem sits widest). Double the flat measurement for the hip circumference.

6. Sleeve length: Measure from the shoulder seam to the cuff edge. For balloon sleeves, also measure sleeve width at the fullest point (flat) and double it for circumference.
7. Armhole (arm opening): Measure around the armhole seam; or measure flat from top of the armhole seam to bottom and use that to estimate circumference if needed.
8. Hem width: Measure straight across the bottom hem and double for the full hem circumference.
